Tania Levy is an oil artist, composer, writer and craft artist. She was born in Puerto Rico. Through her work she explores in abstract paintings social problems in humanity but also coming from the Caribbean their paintings are full of her roots and memories of the past century remembering beautiful scenes like “Woman washing cloth in the river”, “Grinding coffee”, “Cooking in stones”.

She has participated in different art events like Latin Museum of Arts in Miami, Osceola Center of the Arts, Open House of Arts, HPWA in Tampa, member of Centro de Cultura Puertorriqueño, and lots of other Galleries and Art Shows.

Also she has participated in talks in high schools with students and libraries promoting the arts and good education amongst young people. Her book “A Donde Han Ido Los Poetas” goes with the same feelings about her motherland and memories that the readers always congratulate her and say that they enjoy very much the reading.

One of her goals is promote among youngsters the art, education and make them proud of their heritage.
